Howdy, Strangers!! It’s been quite a while since I’ve had much to say.
My cars are both mostly alright.
My daughters are both totally fine.
(It was difficult figuring a name for this post. It was either the name it got or “Online Predators”. Both seemed appropriate…)
Terrible enough that every single one of my online profiles has been deleted.
Except my blog
A friend was coming over at 7pm to eat with us and then give us massages. Because he hadn’t yet been to my new apartment (which I haven’t even told you about yet!), I met him out in the parking lot. I leaned on Lil Bear while I waited for our friend’s arrival.
We ate yummy food together; had our massages… It was a lovely evening.
When our friend left at 10:30, I walked him out and Lil Bear was still in his spot.
So, I’ve been talking about this guy, but not really about him so much.
First off, if you didn’t manage to guess already 😉 he’s from Alaska, and just moved to Denver at the beginning of this summer.
He’s 42 and has three teenage sons who still live in Anchorage. They will be moving to here sooner than later (the two older boys are looking to go to CSU for football – his eldest graduates in 1.5 years).
As time passes and I get farther and farther away from my last contact with Loserman, I feel more and more lost.
Every day I think of a new reason to call him – or I just end up mulling over the old ones.
The biggest reason I don’t reach out to him is fear of rejection.
And, I guess if I had to be honest, pride…
There were really bad parts to our relationship, especially at the end when he seemed to turn into someone else.
But, before that, there were amazing times.
If there wasn’t, I never would have started this blog and named it what I did.
